PHP Web Developer - £41,000 - £55,000 - Full Lifecycle Development of Global Systems
My client are a revolutionary technology company operating within healthcare. Their products connects with near 20 million patients and healthcare professional every day providing digital and mobile solutions to improve patient care and support while aiding the efficiency of the UK's health industry. They are currently scaling up, with a lfl growth of 50%, they are building their Development team here in West-Central London.
Their mission lies in helping practitioners help patients in achieving longer, healthier lives by transforming healthcare technology.
What will you be doing:
With a rapidly growing customer base and they are currently managing an ever increasing demand for enhanced functionality in their product. This is why they are looking to recruit an experienced software engineer to join our development team.
You will be working within the development team responsible for extending and developing the company's existing product set of B2B web applications, along with the creation and development of new products from the ground up.
This includes involvement in areas such as architecture, design and development of code, from requirement gathering, to testing, configuration control & release/build processes etc.
What they're looking for:
They are looking for a professional individual, with the ability to deliver high quality work in a timely manner. The ideal candidate would be both self motivated, independent, proactive while maintaining the ability to work effectively in a group.
The successful applicant will have experience of working with recognised development processes with some experience of all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle.
Tech background required:
- PHP OOP
- PHP Symfony Framework experience (others considered)
- MySQL database experience
- HTML, CSS
- Experience in the development of web applications
- Jira and Agile methodology
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Bonus points for:
- At least two year's commercial development experience
- Version control system GIT experience
- Composer experience
- MongoDB, RabbitMQ experience
- BEng/BSc or equivalent qualification in a technical discipline
Applicant must also have eligibility to live and work in the UK. You must be located within a commutable distance as remote working is not available.
