Business Intelligence Project Manager




A leading International Legal firm with offices in Bristol is looking for a Business Intelligence Project Manager to join the team and manage Data Visualisation and Data Warehouse projects which will add significant value and drive success for the business. This Law firm is committed to change and has already won awards for technology innovation so looking to continue the trend.

The Business Intelligence Project Manager will be responsible for delivery of BI integration applications, brand new data warehouse and BI dashboards. The current landscape needs an overhaul so plenty of interesting work to do - It's a SQL house and reporting is Excel & SSRS based at the moment - experience with different BI tools will be important because you will be heavily involved in tool selection.

You will be working closely with Architects, BA's and internal stakeholders - with this in mind you must be articulate and capable of understanding technical specifications and requirements. You don't need to code but a technical background will be very useful.

You should have the following skills / experience;

  • Experience of delivering DWH and visualisation projects of various size working to strict timelines and budgets
  • Waterfall and Agile methodology
  • Broad exposure of different BI tools e.g Power BI, Qlik, Tableau
  • Vendor selection experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage non-technical business users / stakeholders
  • Ability to fully understand technical requirements
  • Legal domain experience would be highly beneficial
