Application Support Manager - permanent - London
A Global Energy Trading Company is seeking an Application Support Manager to join their office in Central London. You will be leading a growing team of Application Support Analysts who are providing a range of second-line support services across their Front, Middle and Back Office. The application portfolio includes applications in the full energy trading lifecycle, as well as risk management and Enterprise Services, including SharePoint. Alongside line management, the successful Application Support Manager will also have demonstrable experience managing stakeholders and with hands-on operational duties. You will help develop, implement and maintain appropriate processes and procedures to ensure efficient, effective and consistent support, as well as design and implement appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality.
The successful Application Support Manager will need to have a strong level of experience in managing global production support / application support teams in highly pressurised and technically complex environments. You will have experience of working within an ITIL framework, and hands on experience in the implementation and ongoing management of trading applications. Recent experience working in the energy trading sector is also highly desirable for this role.
