Java Contract Developer - York - £350-£500

Length: 4 Months

Rate: £350 - £500

An company based in the heart of York are seeking a number of Java Developer (contract) who are immediately available to join their talented software team to work on a variety of project over the next 4 months and is paying up to £500 per day.

Candidates must have strong skills in backend development with Java and be ready to quickly get to work within a multi-disciplinary team of developers, designers, and testers focussed on one or more products or projects providing services capable of running high volume, reliable and flexible services that are relentlessly user-focussed and continually improved through iterative development

- Extensive experience and solid knowledge of Java/J2EE is mandatory.

- Java application containers - For example: Tomcat, JBoss/Wildfly, Undertow, Jetty, WebLogic, WebSphere

- Good knowledge of one or several RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server) is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

You are dedicated to the art of software delivery and prefer simplicity over complexity. You build elegant solutions and have real-world experience with a number of different languages, but most notably Java.

Ultimately, they are looking for someone who cares deeply about writing seamless code as a Java developer to make an impact and help build something special.
