I'm representing a leading SaaS company currently recruiting for a talented PHP Developer who can become an active part of the company as they set about their latest digital transformation project in North Birmingham.

They are building a cloud based platform based on big data principles for a data insight product, which they supply to some really large brand names in the gameing and gambling industry. They are making use of the latest tech (Cloud technologies, big data tools) and are looking for someone with a background in full stack development in PHP, MVC (Laravel or Zend preferred) and experience of integrating APIs.

The team you'd join are passionate about the latest developments in tech and have built a really inclusive team culture, combining this with their high spec Birminghma office they really have created one the premier working environments in development. You woul dhave the chance to run a multitude of projects by yourself which opens up future career aspirations.

You will become part of a team of experienced engineers who are always eager to learn and improve their work. They are a close knit team with a lively atmosphere that benefits from the warmth of a family firm and the tenacity of a modern set up.

As part of their expansion they are looking a new software engineer to work on their flagship SaaS learning analytics product and ground-breaking research projects.

Required:* Proficient in PHP* Full understanding of multiple CMS platforms and the benefits and advantages behind them. WordPress knowledge is Essential* Ability to produce clear instructive technical specifications for the team to use to deliver the end product* Proficient understanding of accessibility and security compliancy for software solutions.* Experience of managing Third party suppliers such as hosting providers, remote teams or IT services.* A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.* Good knowledge of hosting services, you will be working with Cpanel, WHM, AWS and Digital Ocean.* Command line experience is highly beneficial.* Ability to scope a project, produce technical specs and quote projects accurately.
