Roll Up Roll Up, the multi-coloured company is in town...
Are you amorous about Agile?
Are you besotted with BDD?
Are you crazy about cross-functional teams?
If you answered yes to any of the above, (or even if you did a little cringe, fair enough, I don't blame you) then read on...
You are being offered the chance to advance your test career with the world's largest online auction and shopping website.
You will be a strong exploratory tester who knows how to read code, and has a deep knowledge and experience of working in Agile and pairing.
You are excited by the idea of testing software at scale, and you are comfortable in an Agile environment. You are naturally inquisitive and love working in cross-functional teams with Product Development, Product Management, (Dev, Ops and Test).
On a daily basis you'll be commuting into an office that has a supportive and welcoming team. The Head of Testing Co-Hosts a podcast, runs testing workshops and volunteers and speaks at Testing events all over the world. (He's also a dab hand at sticker-throwing, more info on this at interview stage)
The applications are written in Java, Scala or Jacascript/NodeJS so ideally you'll be comfortable understanding some of these languages and pairing with the programmers who are writing the code.
The benefits on offer rival Silicon Valley, but don't worry; you don't have to out-bid someone for them. Annual bonuses, free lunches, massages, gym classes, free drinks and food, working from home options, very generous annual leave and the pride of knowing you are contributing to a large scale platform used by people the world over.
