onezeero. are working in partnership with a Manchester based software house to recruit a .NET Web Developer. Their mission is to become the most trusted software partner for their current and future clients in their field, with clients who currently include Ford and Disney! They're going through a period of rapid growth at present and are looking for an experienced Web Developer to come on board and be one of the key technical voices in the development team.
They have seen stable growth in the market since their inception in 2006 and currently have over 4 million users worldwide. They have seen an uptake in their market share since a recent product update in February this year so there couldn't be a better time to join as they look to enhance current features, add new features and take their product to the next level with your help.
This is not a run of the mill role for a run of the mill developer, so if that is the kind of role and company you're looking for you might be best avoiding this role. They're looking for somebody who is adaptable, somebody who is comfortable working in a relaxed environment where you can be creative and have the freedom to make technical decisions to ensure that the best possible product is on the market for your customers.
You'll be at ease working in an environment with lots of autonomy where you are trusted to work remotely and with flexitime to ensure that you produce your best work. You'll ideally have experience working in an environment where SOLID Principles, TDD, Continuous Integration (they use Jenkins) are the norm. You'll also ideally be an advocate for software craftsmanship and be passionate about sharing this knowledge with some of the more junior members in the team.
The salary on offer for this Manchester based role is £45,000 and along with the remote and flexible working, Pluralsight licence and time for personal projects, you'd also receive a strong non-contributory pension scheme, the opportunity to design your own workspace and free breakfast every Friday.
If this role is of interest please feel free to get in touch and we can arrange an initial conversation to go through the role in a little more detail. Even if you don't have an up to date CV I'd be happy to talk through this role with you in more detail and I am happy to help with CV writing if this is needed.
There is a technical assignment and a one stage face to face interview process with interview slots confirmed for w/c 6th October. We can be really flexible with times too so even if you're in a role and potentially running low on holidays please still do get in touch!
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnerships, pregnancy or maternity or age.
