Graduate / Junior Software Engineer

onezeero. are partnering with a Blackpool based retail business to recruit a Graduate / Junior Software Engineer to work on a wide variety of desktop and web based applications.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work on projects for some of the biggest retail clients whilst working alongside and being mentored by talented developers in the current team.

The successful Software Developer in this role will ideally have experience developing full stack C# web applications and understand the importance of developing creating clean and reusable code.

If you do not have commercial experience with this, a degree in a relevant subject and a drive and proactive attitude will also be considered.

As a Software Developer you will ideally have experience with C#, SQL / T-SQL, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, HTML/ CSS and you may also have experience working with Entity Framework, LINQ and WCF although as this is a junior role you will not be required to have experience with all of the technologies mentioned.

Essential skills (either commercial or non-commercial):

  • C#
  • ASP.NET
  • T-SQL / SQL
  • Visual Studio
  • HTML/CSS

Desirable skills, technologies and responsibilities include:

  • WCF
  • Entity Framework / LINQ
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual
