Technical Project Manager - Software Development
A global, market-leading software specialist organisation is seeking an experience Technical Project Manager to join their expanding team to assist in the continual driving of their business strategy.
Coming from a strong software development project management background, you will possess excellent technical knowledge of the design and implementation of Service Management and ERP solutions. Well-accustomed to working to Agile principles, you will be experienced in business and technology migration projects with the ability to accurately manage project risks and issues. Experience in managing and building relationships with 3rd parties will also be a pre-requisite for this position. Possession of certification in Project Management principles (e.g. Prince2 or similar) is highly desirable.
In this Project Manager position, you will be responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of a variety of projects as part of the technology programme plans. You will be tasked with engaging with stakeholders of all seniorities across the business to capture requirements and deliver solutions throughout the project lifecycle. You will also be responsible for:
- Planning the resources required to complete each project
- Managing budgets effectively and ensuring projects are completed within set budgets
- Engaging with 3rd party vendors to manage relationships and leverage experience and knowledge
- Supporting and mentoring other members of the team to ensure performance is optimal
This role will be based in the organisation's Cheshire office - commutable from Manchester - and comes with a competitive salary as well as benefits.
