Web Content Manager - Leeds City Centre - £25-30,000 + 25 Days Holiday, Pension and Flex Benefits

An award winning travel business require a Digital Content Manager to join them at their UK head office in Leeds on a permanent basis.

This a Key role working with the Website Manager to support the implementation and optimisation of all digital assets for group websites (national and international).

The Web Content Manager will help drive website user satisfaction and incremental revenue by focusing on developing key strategic pillars of UX improvement, data analytics, SEO optimisation and content generation.

Key Accountabilities

- Generating engaging and on-brand content to appeal to audience segments.- Assisting with the rollout of new digital initiatives.- Ensuring quality and consistency of digital communications is delivered and maintained.- Ensure that group and local websites showcase content in the best way possible and attracts new users.- Maintain and enhance content working with marketing teams.- Support departments in keeping information about their department up-to-date on the websites.- Work with external agencies to ensure on-site content is search optimal and adheres to brand guidelines.- Ensure social media content is available to support campaigns.- Work with our design and development partners on website improvement projects.

Technical Skills and Experience required:

- Building and editing of web content in a content management system (e.g. Drupal, Episerver, Typo3).- Experience of web-content best practices and a demonstrable knowledge of HTML, CSS and web-design principles.- knowledge of SEO.- Experience with using Google analytics, including reporting.- A passion for creating and maintaining quality content.- Photoshop experience for creating web graphics- Have an understanding of the website's role in attracting new customers and impacting revenue.

- Be comfortable working with and supporting lots of different teams around the business.- Possess excellent written communication skills.- Be pragmatic, friendly and solution-focused.- Have excellent organisational and project management skills.- Have a great eye for detail.- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
