Are you a full stack PHP Developer looking to develop world-class systems and applications for one of the UK's fasting growing tech teams? My client, one...
How does working as a .NET Developer for a company who have just had a $1 billion investment in technology sound?
You'd be working for a global company whose European HQ is in Manchester City Centre. Although they're global, they have none of the politics that comes with a large corporate - they're all about tech. Agile and iterative delivery is at the heart of everything you do and with Agile Delivery Leads and Scrum Masters onsite, you're developing in a TDD/test first environment to ensure that software craftsmanship is of a high standard.
Although they take software engineering seriously, the environment is relaxed. Everyone is in jeans and t-shirts, you're never less than a few feet from a breakout room or a Kanban board and it's genuinely fun place to work - there's even a bar onsite!
The tech includes but is not limited to C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Angular, React, TDD (over 90% test coverage in service layer), BDD/DDD, SOLID, ELK stack, SQL and XP. The current work streams are incredibly stable and now they need to concentrate on innovation. To do this they give all developers a Pluralsight licence and an afternoon each week for self-development and self-learning. Whether you're an apprentice or the CTO, if you have an idea which could improve the way they work, they will listen!
You'll be paid up to £40,000 plus benefits such as brand new offices in Manchester City Centre, flexible working hours, casual dress code, Pluralsight licence, time every week for personal development, bar on site, sociable team environment and much more.
