Are you a Software Developer looking for your next career step? We are working with a Cambridge/Peterborough based business that is a bit different to others in many respects. You must have strong problem solving abilities and drive to learn new skills. This role will be working within an ambitious, demanding and innovative development team.

You will be working alongside experienced developers in an Agile team.

Accountabilities:

  • Working with colleagues at junior, mid and senior levels to implement key developments, under guidance, in-line with the business specifications that also comply with the department standards and practices.
  • Work closely with all members of the Agile team to deliver high-quality code that is tested and delivered across the full the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Participate in all Agile planning meetings and stand-ups.
  • You will need to desire self improvement and progression - they are looking for future team leaders and architects.

Key Tech used:

  • In depth experience of using node.js; experience with Java and/or NoSQL technologies
  • Responsive Web Design using JavaScript
  • RESTful
  • Python including Django, would be beneficial
  • OO design, design patterns, unit testing, automated builds
