about the role.

Reporting into onezeero.'s managing director and working alongside the senior management team, you will be responsible for growing our market share within our customer portfolio. You will develop our strategic customer relationships, create and deliver customer retention programmes and develop, sell and implement fit-for-purpose solutions that are tailored to customer opportunities.

Plus, you'll be building and delivering a memorable customer experience through the effective execution of multiple Account Plans alongside the delivery and niche vertical teams across the business.

key responsibilities.

  • Developing productive strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including line managers, senior IT/tech leaders, procurement, HR, and operations across our client portfolio
  • Analysing the existing and lapsed client portfolio for identification of opportunities to maximise our market share - either through improved engagement and delivery control and/or solution upselling
  • Developing and demonstrating your understanding of the client opportunity, its business model, and their short, medium and long-term organisational strategic priorities, as well as internal and external challenges to deliver appropriate solutions quickly and realistically
  • Understanding where we (and the Impellam Group) sit in terms of how the client views our relationship and our capability to help them achieve their objectives
  • Building, maintaining, and delivering an Account Plan for customer development and retention across the client portfolio using analysis, planning, and activity reporting tools and working with senior leadership and marketing to devise innovative ways to engage
  • Understanding customer total recruitment spend, and developing and delivering plans to maximise our share of wallet, and, where appropriate, using other Impellam brands to lead new sales initiatives and maximise revenue opportunities
  • Providing input to recruitment and business development functions, including performance and pricing of existing agreements, identifying the need for new solutions including retained/project/MSP/RPO offerings, and obtaining intelligence on competitors and piloting new solutions
  • Supporting the Business Development team at all levels including sales visits, customer reviews, tender/RFP responses, and final presentations
  • Working with the senior leadership team, our onsite recruiters, and our offsite recruitment community to ensure the successful implementation of client programmes and that new clients are assessed for account planning opportunities / maximisation

financial responsibilities.

  • Organising the management of all accounts in a cost-effective manner, while ensuring optimum service delivery and conversion of time allocation to NFI, as well as long-term development and growth of the account management/delivery teams
  • Making business decisions based on balancing the needs of our customers and our commercial /strategic objectives
  • Managing the achievement of NFI maximisation and client retention targets
  • Managing and controlling accurate forecasting of temp and perm NFI across the key client portfolio on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

strategic responsibilities.

  • Continually leading, assessing, and adjusting service delivery and customer solutions to meet and exceed customer requirements and competitor offerings
  • Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of our value proposition in the market and developing our competitive advantage
  • Developing new processes and introducing innovations that will deliver efficiencies while improving customer satisfaction and engagement
  • Embracing change and continually introducing new products and services - championing them with internal teams and customers

required experience / skills / qualities.

  • Demonstrable track record in the recruitment industry (ideally with IT/tech industry), with knowledge and experience of running multiple PSL accounts and/or managed service provider/RPO accounts
  • Consistent record of success in retaining a developing client spend in PSL and/or MSP/RPO
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - both verbal and written
  • Experience in handling all levels of stakeholder relationships;
  • Mobile and able to work nationally
  • Highly computer-literate with knowledge of VMS systems
  • Ability to work with MI to drive effective account planning, tracking, and client development initiatives
  • Able to identify clear opportunities to develop services and relationships with all customers
