A Web Analyst with experienced in the use of JavaScript, JQuery and Ajax is required to join a large international retailer, based out of their central London office. You will be assisting with and helping to shape their ecommerce strategy. The business office is located centrally, with access to public transport links.

About the role:

As the Web Analyst, you will be leading the development of web analytics enhancement and implementation across the business digital estate. You will be utilising your knowledge of tag management. In addition to this, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Undertake QA/testing of analytics implementation, ensuring correct data is being forwarded to the analytics tools
  • Leading the development of web analytics implementation and enhancement
  • Development of tagging specifications, maximising reporting capabilities
  • Continuous development and testing of data capture of the web analytics platform
  • Management of ad-hoc technical integration projects with other tools - e.g digital marketing platforms, BI tools and onsite surveys

About you:

As the Senior Web Analyst you will have prior experience within a similar role and have a good technical understanding. In addition to this, you will also ideally have the following experience:

  • Experience using JavaScript, AJAX and JQuery
  • Exposure to PHP, R, SQL, Python (desirable)
  • Experience with Tag Management systems such as Tealium and Ensighten
  • Experience of web analytics implementation - including testing, page tagging, QA
  • Attention to detail
