Project Manager - Business Change

My client are about to embark on a revolutionary programme of works to implement a ground breaking platform and install a new suite of applications. This is part of the overall strategy of the group and will make them the market leader in their industry, I am delighted to be assisting them in the search for a Project Manager with the following;

  • Manages IT activities, typically involving the development and implementation of business applications to meet identified business needs, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Enforces process and procedures defined for the execution of activities
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensures comprehensive project, quality and risk plans are prepared and maintained
  • Ensures that realistic estimates of costs, timescales and resource requirements are agreed and carries out the monitoring of projects against these criteria, taking corrective action as necessary
  • Ensures that projects are closed out and where appropriate subsequently reviewed and that lessons learned are captured and actioned. Produces appropriate documentation to support these processes
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored
  • Works closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s)
  • Understands basic revenue models and P/L; meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances and initiating corrective actions
